Keep the pig calm and in a small, separate pen before we arrive so handling can be done calmly and safely. We will talk you through what else is helpful for your setup when you book.

No. You don’t need a licence to home kill your own livestock for your own household. The slaughterman must hold the correct certification.

Yes. We provide a 24/7 casualty and emergency slaughter service for livestock that cannot be transported safely. Meat is only returned if it is fit for human consumption, assessed honestly on arrival.
